Light fruity
In homage to the Scovaventi tradition, the Garbino also takes its name from a wind: the one that blows from the south-west, better known as Libeccio or Africo. A wind that caresses the rolling hills of the Tuscan Maremma and crosses the medieval village of Manciano. It is an organic extra virgin olive oil obtained from selected Leccino, Caninese and Ascolana Tenera cultivated olives, harvested and brought in a few hours to the modern continuous-cycle oil mill that processes them within the same day. Tones of almond and green banana. In the glass the oil shines with a bright emerald green. It expands first on the tongue and then in the mouth recalling bitter but never excessive tones of sweet pepper with a spicy finish in the memory of paprika. The oil is well balanced and harmonious and will combine perfectly with fish soups and seasonal soups, to enhance baked fish and above all it will make a homemade mayonnaise special. It is even ideal for flavoring ice cream.
