Historical context and birth of the company
The Riva del Garda Agricultural Association was born in 1926, with the aim of promoting and supporting agriculture in Upper Garda. The winery was founded in 1957, while in 1965 the oil mill business began. Since 2000 we have been a cooperative company, to give greater importance to the production activities of the Winery and the Oil Mill, with constant renewal and technical updating of the systems, at the forefront in their respective sectors. Garda Trentino is an area with an unusual climate, mitigated by Lake Garda and exacerbated by the Dolomites, a Mediterranean microclimate in an Alpine context. In winter, the great lake of Garda cools slowly, giving the surrounding area a much milder and more temperate climate than its latitude.
The alternation of temperate and cold breezes create excellent conditions for both the vine and the olive tree, already known to the Celts and Romans, who planted the first vineyards and olive groves here over 2,000 years ago. The conservation of the territory in its uniqueness and beauty is the territorial mission that we have set ourselves, an incomparable landscape that must be preserved.

The 46 ° Parallelo line offers three types of extra virgin olive oil distinguished by organoleptic characteristics and chemical properties, which make it a fundamental ingredient to enhance various culinary preparations, contributing to a healthy, tasty and balanced diet.
The 46 ° Parallelo branded bottles are characterized by an exclusive packaging: three personalized and colored bottles with an innovative process that guarantees total protection from external light, in order to preserve all the qualities of extra virgin oil over time. The consumption of extra virgin olive oil contributes to physical and mental well-being, especially if used daily together with a healthy lifestyle and moderate physical activity.
Extra virgin oil is rich in polyphenols, natural antioxidants, which give the product greater longevity and counteract negative molecules in the human body. Two of these, oleuropein and holoecanthal, have analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. The extra virgin oil also contains oleic acid, very precious for health, and the two essential fatty acids, linoleic acid (omega-6) and linolenic acid (omega-3).
Extra virgin olive oil is a very useful food, very digestible and suitable for all ages.
