On the slopes of Mount Etna, with about 400 plants of the Nocellara Etnea variety, the olive grove of the SIKULUS farm extends near the village of Santa Maria di Licodia (Catania) at about 800 meters above sea level.

It is here that, under the watchful gaze of the famous volcano, “Don Peppino” is born, the extra virgin olive oil from the Nocellara Etna variety, with a complex organoleptic profile and of medium intensity. Freshly mown grass, hints of tomato, artichoke, wild fennel and almond, a bouquet of perfumes perfect to enhance any Mediterranean preparation, a taste that recalls the sense of smell and relaunches with notes of white pepper, thistle and marjoram.

The bitter sensation is light and the spicy is persistent and balanced. Don Peppino is a versatile oil that adapts to many preparations, of meat and fish; for its particular aroma we suggest you try it with the cream of broad beans, in Sicilian “maccu di favi”, and with avocado (strictly organic Sicilian) eggs, lime and pink pepper.
