“I respect the olive tree and the olive, and the times of nature. I am known as a rustic taster for my connection with peasant culinary traditions. I am my oil. “
Gregorio De Gregoris
The De Gregoris olive farm is located in Sonnino, in the province of Latina, an ancient village of medieval origin in the Ausoni mountain range. The hilly olive-growing landscape is dominated by terraces and dry stone walls. From the 21/22 oil campaign was born “Blend”, a full-bodied extra virgin olive oil, with marked vegetable tones of tomato, celery leaves, artichoke and dried fruit.
On the palate, the bitter note is appreciated because it recalls rocket and artichoke; celery returns and, in closing, a sweet salad note is perceived. The bitter and spicy are of medium intensity and persistence.
Try the “Rustico” extra virgin olive oil with fresh tomato salad, grilled (red) meat, grilled vegetables, bruschetta and legume soup.
