For the ancient Romans, the green gold of Rome was the oil from the Venafro olive trees which they called Aurum, hence the name Aurina. A variety of olive that today, in the Monteroduni farmhouse, the Principe Pignatelli Company produces in the latest generation company mill, enhancing its sensory and organoleptic characteristics. The result is an extra virgin olive oil with herbaceous, elegant scents and a pleasant spiciness that envelops the palate. A green gold to be used in the kitchen with simple preparations of meat or fish, steamed vegetables and seafood salad.
