Medium fruity
The fruity notes of Ogliarola Barese are intense and persistent, varying from yellow fruit to green apple and surprise the palate with a light spicy and a vegetable of fresh almond and artichoke.
This variety of olive is also known by the names “Cima di Bitonto” and “Paesana” but Oro di Rufolo simply calls it “Ogliarola” because its origins are clearly imprinted in the organoleptic profile of the resulting oil.
Perfect for any preparation, use “Ogliarola” extra virgin olive oil for fresh salads and raw fish or as an original topping for ice cream.
